How do credits work exactly?

Here’s a breakdown of the credit system at Spell:

Agents usually run in multiple iterations. For example, if your AutoGPT agent configured to use GPT-3.5 performs 5 iterations, you will be billed 25 credits.


When are my credits renewed?

Your message credits are renewed at the start of every calendar month regardless of when you subscribed. So if you subscribe on the 15th of July, your credits will be renewed on the 1st of August.


Will I be charged for results I'm not happy with?

Nope! Only agents & tasks which have completed successfully (ie. without error and not cancelled by you) will contribute to your credit usage. So if you see that an agent is going in the direction you’re not happy with, go ahead and cancel it. It won’t add to your usage quota!


What is the refund policy?

Due to the nature of our product, we currently do not offer refunds, either partial or in full. The costs of AI are considerably high and we offer a very generous free trial already.

You can easily cancel your subscription at any time you like. We will no longer charge you anything once you cancel your subscription.


What happens if I go over my monthly quota?

We have a fair use policy. We won’t stop your agents or lock your account if you go over your monthly quota. Our sales team will reach out to you if we notice that your plan is consistently exceeding its limits.

To cancel your account please go to Account page and choose the Cancel account option:
