What plugins should I use?
Most importantly: the less plugins, the better! Choosing too many plugins is the most common reason of agents getting lost or confused. We recommend choosing max. 2-3 plugins. For most tasks, a mix of Search, Browse website and File access is the best choice.
What’s with the Chat feature, why is it so basic?
We made Spell thinking specifically about how to do less (not more!) chatting. Tasks & Agents are the answer to that to excessive typing. That said, we are aware that chatting with GPT is still the most effective way to experiment, try new prompts etc. That’s why we provide a chat feature, but in a very basic form.
Can I see the raw input/output of the agents?
Currently it is not possible to see the raw calls to OpenAI and the received responses. We made Spell specifically to abstract away the technical complexities and focus on the results. We may add this functionality in the future.
What technologies does Spell use?
Spell is built using OpenAI API, LangChain and a ton of amazing open source technologies.
Where do Spell plugins come from?
Plugins available at Spell are in fact ChatGPT plugins appropriated to use by our agents. The plugins are provided by third parties and at the moment we cannot guarantee their reliability nor security!
